Socialism is, broadly speaking, a political and economic system in which belongings and the means of production are endemic in common, typically controlled past the state or government. Democratic SocialismDemocratic socialism is a form of socialism which emphasizes that both the economy and society should be run democratically, and that the goal is to meet the needs of all the people, non only a rich few. Some socialists argue that socialism does not necessarily crave the government to run everything. Instead, business organization institutions should exist run by those workers and consumers that are afflicted by them. This could be implemented, for example, as worker-run cooperatives or publicly owned enterprises managed past workers and consumer representatives.
